The reported figure comes from PlayStation data
PlayStation Game Size, an account known for tracking information from the PlayStation backend, published the 210 GB figure on 27 October. Insider Gaming said it had confirmed the information, without describing its verification method.

Rockstar has not confirmed the download figure. The final installed size and the free-space requirement may be different.
Preload begins one week before release
Rockstar’s official support information confirms that digital preloading begins at midnight local time on 12 November. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The official page confirms those dates but does not list a final storage requirement. A final figure will require a platform-store listing or a storage specification from Rockstar.
The download figure is not a storage requirement
A 210 GB download would be large, but it does not establish the final installed size. It also does not show how much temporary space the console may need during installation.
Players should therefore wait for the PlayStation Store listing or a Rockstar storage specification before treating 210 GB as the exact amount of space to free on the console.
The reported download remains unconfirmed. The preload on 12 November and release on 19 November come from Rockstar’s official information.
